Your Theater Performance Workshop course at Brooklyn Arts Academy, 456 7th Avenue, Floor 3, Brooklyn, NY 11215, US, Arts Building - Studio A starts in one week, , at and your students can't wait to see what you've got in store for them! We're checking in with you to make sure that you're well prepared and have everything you need to have a smooth and successful start to your term.
What to Expect
- A designated staff member at the school will meet you and bring you to your classroom.
- They will also introduce you to your Teaching Assistant (if applicable), who will support you throughout the term.
- The first class is always the trickiest -- give yourself extra time to settle in!
Be Prepared
- Arrive early: Plan to arrive at the school at least 15 minutes before your class start time.
- Curriculum: Make sure your curriculum is finalized and your lesson plans are ready for the first class.
- Materials: Purchase all necessary materials before your first session. Remember to save your receipts and submit them through your Provider Dashboard for reimbursement.
- Substitute requests: If you know you'll need a substitute for any session, submit your request as early as possible through your Provider Dashboard.
- Dress appropriately: Wear comfortable clothing suitable for teaching in a school environment.
- Tipalti: If you haven't already, complete your Tipalti payment setup to ensure timely compensation.
- Provider Hub: Visit your Provider Dashboard for resources, FAQs, and support materials.
